7/16系列連接器界面依照DIN標準。7/16系列連接器專為中大功率場合而設計。如蜂窩網基站，控制單元，天線及廣播設備等。7/16系列產品通過接觸面三元合金電鍍來減少互調失真。六角形螺母可以用扳手擰緊，提供更穩固的連接而進一步減少信號畸變。

每個接觸對的互調失真性能均優於-150dBm。公制M29×1.5的螺紋結構確保瞭堅固的連接。7-16系列的產品可以適用多種常用尺寸的RG電纜及低損耗電纜，且有焊接-裝接及焊接-壓接兩種連接方式。

7/16 series connector’s interface was designed according to DIN (Deutsh Industries Norm). Its name derives from the metric dimensions of the connector interface: 7mm OD of inner contact, 16mm ID of outer contact. 7/16 connectors are designed for use in communications systems with power levels of 100 watts per channel.
