MZ201

The MZ 201 is a two cylinder, two-cycle air-cooled engine, derived from the MZ202 and rated at 45 Hp, a second generation two stroke engine. At this power output we are able to use our belt reduction drive system and the engine does not require forced air cooling, but that is dependant on installation detail. The torque curve is very flat and optimised for driving a propeller, this together with double CDI ignition system and a single Tillotson diaphragm carburetor give reduced fuel consumption. The MZ201 is supplied with electric starter, recoil starter, exhaust system, wiring harness, air filter and belt reduction, complete weight is only 31 kg (69 lbs) Options available are: RZ2 gear box with clutch, and fan cooling.
