棕剛玉：blown fused alumina
生產工藝：又稱金剛砂，是以鋁礬土，焦炭（無煙煤）
為主要原料，在電弧爐內經高溫冶煉而成。主要成分為AL2O3,和TiO2。另外還有少量的SIO2和Fe2O3.,
性能：具有耐高溫，耐腐蝕，硬度大，強度高，耐磨損，結晶好，膨脹系數低等特點。微晶硬度：努譜硬度HV1800-2200kg/mm2，莫氏硬度9.0體積密度為3.85/cm3,，最高使用溫度1850℃，熔點2250℃
顏色：為深棕色，煅燒後為深藍色。
用途：1.噴砂棕剛玉，2.自由研磨，3.樹脂磨具，4.塗附磨具，5.磨料水力切割, 6，耐火材料。棕剛玉功能性填料——主要用於汽車制動件、特種輪胎、特種建築制品等領可作為修築高速公路路麵、飛機跑道、碼頭、停車場、工業地坪、體育場地等耐磨材料;
過濾介質——是磨料的新型應用領域，采用粒狀磨料作過濾床的底層介質，凈化飲用水或廢水，是國內外新型的水過濾材料，尤其適用於有色金屬選礦、石油鉆井泥漿加重劑
水洗棕剛玉磨料優點：
粉塵小：用水洗金剛砂進行表麵噴磨處理，由於它的比重比較高，所以在噴射過程中產生的粉塵比較少，這一點保證瞭操作員的健康和安全，提高瞭操作員的能見度，與礦渣相比較（礦渣形成過程中是用冷水甚至是海水進行高溫冷卻，所以形成的是玻璃相結構，具有易碎性），由於礦渣比較脆，在噴磨過程中，易被撞碎形成小顆粒，由於礦渣比重比較小，造成小礦渣顆粒懸浮在空氣中，造成對環境的污染，同樣，石英砂也是一種非常易碎的磨料，在噴磨過程中，會產生大量的對人體有害和對環境有嚴重污染的矽酸粉塵，這種粉塵一旦被人體吸入，很容易導致矽肺病甚至是癌癥。
是水洗廠牛仔服.水切割行業優質的配砂。本廠產品自銳性好 ,邊角鋒利;在不斷粉碎中形成新的棱刃,介殼狀斷口硬度均勻,對所磨器具、物件不會造成劃傷現象，而且化學成分穩定,耐酸堿,具有其他磨料和人工合成磨料不可替代的優勢。並且本廠產品研磨時間短，效益高，但價格低廉，這些可以禰補壽命短而不足。
高效率：水洗金剛砂在一定壓力作用下，能夠大量快速地用鋒利的棱角撞擊物體表麵，所以被視作是一種非常快的噴磨方式，在氣流中顆粒加速度和速度是慣性和顆粒大小產生的作用，越小的顆粒，加速越容易，因此能產生更高的沖擊力沖擊物體表麵，從而產生一個非常高的清洗速度——通常情況下，這個速度（ｍ2/h r）比其他常規磨料快兩倍。
