石榴石 

石榴石又名為“玉砂”或“天然金鋼”，具有較強的硬度和很好的耐酸耐堿性，是一種島狀結構的鋁(鈣)矽酸鹽，目前，經高純磁造出的有灰、紅、綠、白等多種染色體，常見的石榴石因其化學成分而確認為六種，分別為紅榴石、鐵鋁石榴石子石、錳鋁石榴石、鈣鐵石榴石。外觀：紅綠黑顆粒狀，是由島狀結構的鋁（鈣）矽酸鹽礦物質加工而成的。

特點：耐磨度強，熔點高，比重大，性能穩定，

用途：

1 鋼結構、船體、橋梁等的噴砂除銹； 　　

2 金屬、石材、玻璃等的水刀切割； 　　

3 化工、石油、水處理的過濾介質； 　　

4 大理石、光學鏡頭、玻璃器皿、皮革等材料的研磨；
