Force Sensing Resistor是著名Interlink Electronics 公司生產的一款重量輕，體積小，感測精度高，超薄型電阻式壓力傳感器。這款壓力傳感器是將施加在FSR傳感器薄膜區域的壓力轉換成電阻值的變化，從而獲得壓力信息。壓力越大，電阻越低。其允許用在壓力100g-10kg的場合。其可用於機械手末端夾持器感測夾持物品有無，仿生機器人足下行走地麵感測，哺乳類動物咬力測試生物實驗，應用范圍及其廣泛。

Description:

This is a force sensitive resistor with a round, 0.5" diameter, sensing area. This FSR will vary its resistance depending on how much pressure is being applied to the sensing area. The harder the force, the lower the resistance. When no pressure is being applied to the FSR its resistance will be larger than 1MΩ. This FSR can sense applied force anywher in the range of 100g-10kg.

Two pins extend from the bottom of the sensor with 0.1" pitch making it bread board friendly. There is a peel-and-stick rubber backing on the other side of the sensing area to mount the FSR.

These sensors are simple to set up and great for sensing pressure, but they aren't incredibly accurate. Use them to sense if it's being squeezed, but you may not want to use it as a scale.
