電子鎮流器產生高頻率電流，通過金屬線圈與磁環產生高頻率電磁波，從而在玻璃管（含有氣體）周圍創造瞭磁場,

在閉路內,引起自由電子加速度運轉，這些自由電子和汞原子相碰吸取瞭更多的能量成為高能電子.啟動的電子從高能狀態退到低能狀態而放射出紫外線,紫外線碰到玻璃管表麵納米3基色螢光粉時，轉化為可見光.

Electronic ballasts produce high frequency electric current. The current come through a metal coil to produce magnetic high-frequency electromagnetic waves  which then generated to the glass tube (with gas) to create a magnetic field in the tube, causing acceleration of free electrons functioning.
