中國上海進出口玩具檢測中心是由國家質檢總局批准建立，是實施進出口玩具檢驗測試和質量監督的專業檢測機構。中心成立於1990年。自成立以來，中心按照ISO/IEC 17025的要求努力提高實驗室的檢測和管理能力。現順利通過中國合格評定委員會(CNAS)的實驗室評審，成為CNAS的認可實驗室(註冊編號L0232)。中心2003年被國家質檢總局規劃為國家級重點實驗室。2005年中心被指定為玩具CCC強制認證指定檢測實驗室。

STIC was authorized to set up by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of PRC(AQSIQ) .It is a professional testing organ which carries out the inspection and testing and quality supervision. STIC is located in the newly built testing building of Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, which owns advanced equipment and excellent testing personnel. Since the center was founded, we try hard to improve the testing and administration ability as per the requirements of ISO/IEC17025.Now STIC successfully passed the lab evaluation of CNAS, becoming the approved laboratory of CNAS (registration number L0232).STIC was made plan to be a key lab by AQSIQ in 2003. In 2005 the center was appointed as the toy testing lab of China Compulsory Certification.
