Takeshi Ishiguro
Takeshi Ishiguro was born in 1969 in Yamanashi Prefecture. After graduating from Salesian Polytechnic, he entered the School of Design of the Royal College of Art in London, and graduated in 1995. He joined IDEO, USA in 1996, and was engaged in general product design and strategy at the San Francisco Office. His "Rice Salt & Pepper" and "Chimney" (humidifier) were added to the permanent collection at MoMA, in 1998 and 2007 respectively. He was transferred to the Tokyo Office in 1999, and then left the company in 2001. He started a broad range of activities individually from 2002, including products, art, and theater performance.
