紙張耐折度檢測機器是光機電一體化結構，能夠對被測試樣的雙折次數進行自動計數。機器采用光電控製技術能使折疊夾頭在每次實驗後自動歸位，方便瞭下一次的操作。機器具備強大的數據處理功能：不但能夠對單一試樣的雙折次數及相應的對數值進行轉換，而且能夠統計同組多個試樣的實驗數據，能夠統計出同組試樣的最大值、最小值、平均值和變異系數，這些數據被存儲在微電腦內，並能通過數位管顯示。除此之外，機器還具有打印功能：根據國際GB/T2679.5-1995對耐折度實驗報告的要求，將被測試樣的各統計數據按實驗報告的要求進行打印。
