PL26型標準遊離度機是用於測定各種紙漿的水懸浮液的慮水速率，並由遊離度(簡稱CSF )概念表述。濾水速率反映瞭纖維經過打漿或精磨的情況。標準遊離度測定機被廣泛應用於造紙工業生產中打漿過程的檢驗，造紙工藝的制定以及科研院所的各種造紙制漿實驗中，是研究制漿造紙不可缺少的測量機器。

加拿大標準遊離度是指在規定的條件下，用加拿大遊離
度測定機測定1000mL含量為（0.3±0.0005）%、溫度20°C的漿料水懸浮液的慮水性能，以該機器側管流出的水的體積（mL）表示CFS值。該機器為全不銹鋼制造。使用壽命長。
遊離度機包括濾水室和按比例分流的測量漏鬥，安裝在一個固定的支架上。濾水室是由不銹鋼制作而成，圓筒底部是一個多孔的不銹鋼篩板和一個不透氣的密封底蓋，用活頁連接在圓通的一側，緊扣在另一側，頂蓋是密封的，打開底蓋，紙漿流出。
圓筒和濾水錐形漏鬥分別由支架上兩個機械加工的有開口的托架法蘭支撐。
