BOPP封箱膠帶具有適當的粘性、拉伸強度大、保持力高、防水性等特點，因此適用於物品的包紮、封箱、辦公用紙類的接合、單據的固定等。
使用時應該註意下麵急幾點：
⑴ 在用於物品的包紮和封箱時,要防止膠粘帶的過分拉伸,因為當膠粘帶過分拉伸後,膠粘帶的機械松弛會導致包紮物散開和紙箱開裂等；
⑵ 在選用食品包裝的膠粘帶的時候，膠粘帶的粘性不能太高，防止打開包裝袋時損壞包裝材料；
⑶ 在辦公用紙類的接合中，要註意選用透明度好的膠粘帶，防止看不清接口處的文字；
⑷ 在實際使用中，可根據不同的使用要求考慮等選用適合寬度、膠層厚度及是否有印刷，顏色等不同的膠粘帶；
膠粘帶請在室溫下儲存，防止太陽光照射。
