手搖活塞泵適用於各種船舶抽送不含硬質顆粒或纖維的淡水及海水，以及潤滑油、燃料油，其它潤滑性的油類。可使用於人防工程、消防、水井取水、廚房排污油水、車輛運輸部門等不同的場所。輸送介質溫度不超過60℃。
