主流PLD產品
* XC9500 Flash工藝PLD,常見型號有XC9536，XC9572，XC95144等。型號後兩位表示宏單元數量。
* CoolRunner-II： 1.8v低功耗PLD產品
FPGA芯片的組成
1)可編程輸入輸出單元；
2)基本可編程邏輯單元；
3)完整的時鐘管理；
4)嵌入塊式RAM；
5)豐富的佈線資源；
6)內嵌的底層功能單元和專用硬件模塊；
CLB是FPGA內的基本邏輯單元。CLB的實際數量和特性會依器件的不同而不同，但是每個CLB都包含：一個可配置開關矩陣，此矩陣由4或6個輸入、一些選型電路（多路復用器等）和觸發器組成。開關矩陣是高度靈活的，可以對其進行配置以便處理組合邏輯、移位寄存器或RAM。在Xilinx公司的FPGA器件中，CLB由多個（一般為4個或2個）相同的Slice和附加邏輯構成。
每個CLB模塊不僅可以用於實現組合邏輯、時序邏輯，還可以配置為分佈式RAM和分佈式ROM。

主流FPGA產品
Xilinx的主流FPGA分為兩大類，一種側重低成本應用，容量中等，性能可以滿足一般的邏輯設計要求，如Spartan系列；還有一種側重於高性能應用，容量大，性能能滿足各類高端應用，如Virtex系列，用戶可以根據自己實際應用要求進行選擇。 在性能可以滿足的情況下，優先選擇低成本器件。
Spartan系列目前主流的芯片包括:
Spartan-2，Spartan-2E，Spartan-3， Spartan-3A，
Spartan-3E，Spartan-6等種類。
1）Spartan-2最高可達20萬系統門；
2）Spartan-2E最高可達60萬系統門；
3）Spartan-3最高可達500萬門；
4）Spartan-3A和Spartan-3E不僅系統門數更大，還增強瞭大量的內嵌專用乘法器和專用塊RAM資源，具備實現復雜數字信號處理和片上可編程系統的能力。
5）Spartan-6系列的FPGA是Xilinx公司於2009年推出的新一代的FPGA芯片，該系列的芯片功耗低，容量大
* Spartan-3/3L: 新一代FPGA產品，結構與VirtexII類似，全球第一款90nm工藝FPGA，1.2v內核，於2003年開始陸續推出。
簡評：成本低廉，總體性能指標不是很優秀，適合低成本應用場合，是Xilinx未來幾年在低端FPGA市場上的主要產品，目前市場上中低容量型號很容易購買到，大容量相對少一些。
* Spartan-3E：基於Spartan-3/3L，對性能和成本進一步優化
* Spartan-6：xilinx最新推出的低成本FPGA
簡評：成本低廉，總體性能指標不是很優秀，適合低成本應用場合，是Xilinx未來幾年在低端FPGA市場上的主要產品，目前剛剛推出，很多型號還沒有大批量生產。
Virtex系列是Xilinx的高端產品，也是業界的頂級產品，Xilinx公司正是憑借Vitex系列產品贏得市場，從而獲得FPGA供應商領頭羊的地位。可以說Xilinx以其Virtex-6 、Virtex-5、Virtex-4、Virtex-II Pro和Virtex-II系列FPGA產品引領現場可編程門陣列行業。
Virtex-4系列的FPGA采用瞭高級矽模組(Advanced
Silicon Modular Block,ASMBL)架構。ASMBL通過使用獨
特的基於列的結構，實現瞭支持多專門領域應用平臺的概
念。每列代表一個具有專門功能的矽子系統，如邏輯資源、存儲器、I/O、DSP、處理、硬IP和混
合信號等。Xilinx公司通過組合不同功能列，組裝成麵向特定應用類別的專門領域FPGA（與專用不同，專用是指一項單一應用）。
4、Virtex-5、Virtex-6等種類。
* Virtex-II:2002年推出，0.15um工藝，1.5v內核，大規模高端FPGA產品
* Virtex-II pro: 基於VirtexII的結構，內部集成CPU和高速介面的FPGA產品
* Virtex-4: xilinx最新一代高端FPGA產品，采用90nm工藝製造，包含三個子系列：麵向邏輯密集的設計：Virtex-4 LX，麵向高性能信號處理應用：Virtex-4 SX，麵向高速串行連接和嵌入式處理應用：Virtex-4 FX。
簡評：各項指標比上一代VirtexII均有很大提高，獲得2005年EDN雜志最佳產品稱號，從2005年年底開始批量生產，將逐步取代VirtexII，VirtexII-Pro,是未來幾年Xilinx在高端FPGA市場中的最重要的產品，
* Virtex-5：65nm工藝的產品
* Virtex-6：最新的高性能FPGA產品，45nm
* Virtex-7：2011年推出的超高端FPGA產品。
